Here in northwest Montana, we don't have quite as much snow, but I attempted to walk past our driveway this morning since things have been melting a bit and had the same experience as the video. Ha! Sitting here now...watching more snow fall...so I'm in the same boat - just waiting to even be able to see the ground where the tulips might start popping through the frozen ground. Thanks for sharing!

Def sheep. Smaller, double duty meat and wool. There is a sheepherder who lives in Oregon, and he is pretty cool, and very pro sheep as you might imagine. He is a pretty awesome guy and very self suff.

Thanks for the links. I'm going to watch this later this evening with John. I'm leaning toward sheep already. I'm still a wuss about butchering any large animal (I haven't had to yet), but I'm definitely interested in the milk and wool. I've been doing some research and, later this spring, we're going to a local sheep farm to get some face to face input.
