Wow…. Quite the harrowing experience! And once again you told the story with such humor and grace! Also glad to hear that the chickens are doing well! 👍 And life goes on….. 😊

The chickens never knew anything was wrong! Just kept on laying eggs. They're doing fine. :-)

Well thank god you saved the cheese! But what ever happened to the chickens? Did they make it?

I'm pleased to report that the chickens are eggcellent! (Sorry... couldn't resist). They enjoyed their independence (getting themselves up, putting themselves to bed) never realizing the dangers that surrounded them.

Wow, what a story! First off I’m glad you are safe and I am sorry for your husbands loss. I can’t imagine all these things happening at once. It is surreal. Like in a Hollywood story where, like that couldn’t possibly all happen at the same time in such a short time, could it? Clearly it did.

I simply love how you capture all the details with such precise clarity and humor as well. I mean Meryl Sheep ? I absolutely love that. And let’s not forget about how long it took to freeze dry the cheese I would say the same thing frankly.

I hope you both are able to take a deep breath, and all the critters are also able to take a deep breath as you re-enter “normal” life again .

It felt surreal, too. I'm still not sure what day it is.
